Who We Are
BTR Medical, Inc.
Richard and Bonnie Texada met in Shreveport while finishing their respective graduate medical education programs. Shortly after they were married, they moved to the New Orleans area as he was accepted into the Sports Medicine Fellowship Program at Tulane University. After completing the program, they briefly returned to Shreveport. After two and half years there, they, and their two children, moved permanently back to the Northshore. They live in Mandeville, and both work at the Slidell location of Paradigm Health System and Sterling Surgical Hospital, both entities being on the same campus. They often treat the same patients, each with their expertise from their respective medical disciplines, creating the type of continuity of care that can only come from direct communication as a result of this unique relationship.
